时间荏苒,作为妇产大夫已经能够独当一面的鸿鸟樱离开了已经的恩师荻岛胜秀地点的离岛病院。看着跟岛上住平易近近间隔触摸的荻岛的身影,樱开端思考一件事件。另一方面,已经是研修医的下屋跟重生儿科的白川都成为了专业医师继承任务着。从离岛归来的樱跟助产士小松一起诊察了耳朵听不见的妊妇早见愛菜。她的老公健治也有一起前来,但健治是一位聋哑人。由于医疗术语用手语或许唇语都很难转达,以是改用了白板直接笔谈。另一方面,产科医四宫诊察了想要早日归来职场的职业女性佐野彩加。彩加向四宫讯问本人能否能够依照预产期直接出产,但四宫却并不答复她,而是用心肠做着B超检讨。检讨的成果,彩加的宝宝患有“心室中隔欠损”,是一种心脏上有小孔的疾病。彩加因而非常摇动,围产期中央的担任人今桥与四宫一起向彩加的老公康孝细心转达了这件事。想要早日归来职场的彩加的心境与宝宝的疾病交错在一起,带来了双重不安。而爱菜在出产前,也向樱论述了本人的不安……
